Behaviour
Section titled “Behaviour”GET /open/*on vulture.aero shows the app icon, the App Store badge, the trial line and a QR code of the current URL, so the link can be opened on a phone.- On iPhone, the Smart App Banner and the App Clip take over.
On vulture-web’s redesign branch (ced5221, 2026-10-20, not merged yet; see Website):
- The page shows both store badges, the visitor’s own store first (Google Play on Android, the App Store on Apple devices, Google Play first otherwise).
- On a phone (a coarse pointer, 700 px wide or less) it hides the QR code and the desktop text and says “Vulture isn’t on this phone yet. Install it, then open the link again.” instead.
Platform differences
Section titled “Platform differences”- The live page has no Google Play badge and no hint for Android, where an unverified link lands here until “Open supported links” is on. Both are requested (ios-changes A5). The
redesignbranch adds the badge; its install line does not tell an Android reader about Share › Open in Vulture or Open supported links, so that half of A5 is still open.
