Behaviour
Section titled “Behaviour”- openAIP vector tiles (zoom 5 to 14) are drawn on the flight, task and in-flight maps. A long press inspects them (Airspace sheet).
- openAIP airspace, and the warnings it feeds, are free.
- Settings › Airspace chooses between openAIP and your own files (Own airspace files), shows hidden airspace and turns automatic file updates on or off.
Platform differences
Section titled “Platform differences”- Android honours the openAIP tile unit attribute (B8) and merges tile fragments and MultiPolygons before the scan (B38); iOS fixes were requested for B38, B8 is done on iOS.
- Both apps need an openAIP API key; it is not in these docs.
