Behaviour
Section titled “Behaviour”- Vulture downloads SRTM tiles for the flight’s area from the Vulture backend and caches them on the device.
- The terrain fills the barogram and gives the height above ground in the readouts and the analysis.
- Reload Terrain (iOS) fetches the tiles again.
Platform differences
Section titled “Platform differences”- Android gives the request a 10-second budget and treats a timeout as “no elevations” (Q23); an iOS fix was requested.
- vulture-web answers
GET /api/elevations/:filenamewith a redirect to the.hgt.ziptile on S3, and returns 400 for a malformed tile name.
