Behaviour
Section titled “Behaviour”- Browse the airspace files the Vulture backend lists from the XCSoar repository and openAIP, and download them.
- With automatic updates on, Vulture compares each file’s
updatedAtwith the downloaded copy and fetches newer versions. - Downloading is free; drawing the files needs Pro (Own airspace files).
Platform differences
Section titled “Platform differences”- Android offers the XCSoar catalogue only; the openAIP catalogue (
/api/openaip/airspace) is not in v1 (P6-D8). - Android runs one WorkManager update job per app start (P6-D15).
- vulture-web scrapes the XCSoar repository and lists openAIP’s
_asp.xmlfiles from its public bucket, renamed.aip.
